The 2018 NHL entry draft starts Friday with the first round, and the Detroit Red Wings have two selections to make. They have the sixth overall pick, and given the depth of talent available within the top 10 projected picks, should get a player who will be key to the rebuilding effort. They pick again at 30th, where they have Vegas’ pick stemming from the Tomas Tatar trade.
