With the 193rd overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, the Red Wings select centerman Brady Gilmour out of the OHL. Gilmour is the first player the Red Wings drafted who is under 6’0” in this year’s draft.
Gilmour is a responsible, mature player who plays a sound two-way game. I’ve watched him a couple of times up in Saginaw — he reminds me a lot of what you get with players like Calle Jarnkrok.
