Nelly Korda sunk a 5-foot birdie putt on the 18th green to win the 2021 Meijer LPGA Classic at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont, just outside Grand Rapids.
Korda shot 5 under 67 on Sunday to finish 25-under-par 263, two strokes better than Leona Maguire, to win her fifth LPGA tour event. Maguire three-putted the 18th green for par to finish two strokes back.
Korda, 22, then celebrated with boyfriend Andreas Athanasiou, the former Detroit Red Wings forward who plays for the Los Angeles Kings, on the green and her older sister, Jessica Korda, who finished tied for 25th at 14 under.
