On opening day of the North American International Auto Show here in Detroit, it’s a different type of engine that needs to be revved up. Across the street from Cobo Hall, your Detroit Red Wings will be looking to fire on all cylinders and claim a big 2 points versus the Pittsburgh Penguins. Coming off of back-to-back losses themselves, the Ice Birds lost 2-5 Wednesday in Washington and 1-4 Thursday in Ottawa. Currently sitting at 3rd place in the Antarctic Metro Division, and 7 points up on the Philadelphia Flyers who occupy the last Wild-Card spot, could the back-to-back losses signify complacency in the standings and an opponent ripe for falling victim to overlooking us?
