Carolina has been a bit of a nemesis for the Red Wings recently, especially in two games so far this season where they dominated play in both games, even if the Wings managed to steal a win in one of them. Detroit is now coming off a western Canada trip where they managed roughly 4 good periods across 3 games. That's horrendous, but they somehow ended up with 3 points in those 3 games, so we just need to hope Detroit starts playing full games at some point.
