TAMPA -- The Detroit Red Wings are focused on getting more puck-possession time as they attempt to even their first-round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Wings trail the best-of-seven series, 1-0, headed into Game 2 (7 p.m., CNBC, CBC, FSD) at Amalie Arena. They got a lead in Game 1 but weren't able to keep it.
"It starts with winning the face-off and trying to establish a forecheck," forward Justin Abdelkader said after today's morning skate. "Getting and maintaining pucks in their zone. You're always trying to get momentum on your side, and when you don't have it, you've got fight harder to get it back.
