Live Wings blog: Wings tie it in 3rd

Finally, a power play goal.

Wings forward Brad Richards shoots a wrist shot at the top of the circle through a screen (provided by Riley Sheahan), and the puck gets past Tampa Bay goalie Ben Bishop.

It’s 2-2 with 15:33 left in the third period.

The Wings were 0-for-9 in the series on the power play prior to the goal.

Sheahan did his best impersonation of former Wing Tomas Holmstrom, who was notorious for providing screens in front of the crease. Sheahan leaped out of the way as Richards' shot snuck into the upper-left corner.
