Kanata, Ontario –The Red Wings might be without Dylan Larkin Saturday night in Ottawa.
Larkin missed the morning skate Saturday because of an illness.
Coach Jeff Blashill said Larkin’s availability will be determined before Saturday night’s 7 p.m. game against the Senators.
Larkin has only missed one game this season, a sensational rookie campaign in which he leads the Red Wings with 19 goals; he also has 20 assists.
If Larkin isn’t capable of playing, Teemu Pulkkinen will enter the lineup.
