Dylan Larkin added yet another string to his growing bow in a remarkable start to his young career. Larkin outskated Brandon Saad, Erik Karlsson, Kris Letang, Roman Josi, Matt Duchene, Taylor Hall and Dustin Byfuglien to win the NHL fastest skater award in 2016’s All Star competition this past weekend.

What made his achievement all the more remarkable was that it set the new all-time fastest All Star skater record. Larkin, with a time of 13.172 seconds, smashed the previous record of 13.172 seconds, set by Mike Gartner way back in 4th of February 1996.
