Kronwall out 2-4 weeks, Miller likely done for season

Detroit – The injury bug bit the Red Wings hard Tuesday.

The Red Wings will be without defenseman Niklas Kronwall for 2-4 weeks. Kronwall had arthroscopic knee surgery Tuesday morning after dealing with knee problems most of the season. The Wings also found out they'll likely be without forward Drew Miller for essentially the rest of the season, after he had reconstructive knee surgery that’ll keep him out of the lineup for the next 4-6 months.

Kronwall had played in all 45 games this season with 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) and a minus-10 rating, while playing over 22 minutes per game (22:45).
