Blashill said Bernier, DeKeyser and Ericsson day to day with minor “tweaks.” The latter two won’t play next two games. Bernier might return Wednesday.
Blashill said Joe Hicketts has been the best of the young defensemen halfway through the preseason. Two spots open with Dennis Cholowski, Libor Sulak and Filip Hronek also competing for jobs.
