Detroit — The improbable story of the Vegas Golden Knights continues to show no signs of ending.
And, really, what a story it is.
A staggering 227 days after their first game in franchise history, the Golden Knights are heading to the Stanley Cup Final.

They earned that chance after eliminating Winnipeg in the Western Conference Finals.
“It’s insane. If you go back to the beginning of the season, your goal is always to make the playoffs,” Vegas defenseman Deryk Engelland said.
