Boston — The Red Wings have three goalies, Petr Mrazek, Jimmy Howard and Jared Coreau.
Jeff Blashill said is not saying how he will use them, whether Howard will re-enter the lineup soon or if Coreau will return to Grand Rapids. He said getting them time in goal even in practice is a bit of a challenge.
But Blashill said, he is happy for the return of Howard who, for 17 games until he was injured (knee) Dec 20 was the best goalie the Wings have had this season.
Shunted to the second-string position at the start of the season, Howard became adamant in net.
