CLEVELAND - With two goals each, Filip Zadina and Dominik Shine highlighted the Grand Rapids Griffins’ offense that produced six unanswered third-period tallies en route to an 8-4 comeback win over the Cleveland Monsters at Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday afternoon.
The eight-goal total marks Grand Rapids’ highest-scoring game since it tallied nine at Rockford on Feb. 5, 2016. After overcoming an early 4-2 deficit to the Monsters (7-4-1-0) in the third period, the Griffins have extended their point streak to four games (3-0-0-1) and brought their overall record to 5-5-0-1.
