Griffins Recover With 5-2 Win Over the Wolves

The Griffins snapped their five-game losing streak with a convincing win over their division opponents. Just the night before, they fell 5-4 in a shootout after letting in a game-tying goal with just six seconds left in regulation.

How it Happened

It was a hot start to the game with a combined three goals in the first five minutes of the first period.

The Griffins scored first as Matt Puempel got things started with a goal just one minute and five seconds into the game. However, the Wolves equalized two minutes later through Beau Bennett’s goal.
