The 30-year-old Street was signed to a one-year contract extension by the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday after he finished second on the team in scoring with 55 points and a team-high 25 goals in 62 games.
He also ranked second on the team in the postseason with 21 points (8-13-21) in 19 games as the Griffins won the Calder Cup Trophy. Street scored the double-overtime winner in Game 2 against Syracuse in the finals.
