The Grand Rapids Griffins picked up some scoring punch for next season by acquiring center Carter Camper from the Tucson Roadrunners on Monday.
The 29-year-old Camper, posted a career-high 61 points (16-45-61) and 14 penalty minutes in 68 games between Tucson and the Cleveland Monsters last season.
The Tucson Roadrunners are the AHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes who, in what was not announced as a related deal, acquired defenseman Robbie Russo from the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday. Russo has skated almost exclusively for the Griffins the past three seasons.
