The Detroit Red Wings had a goal-scoring problem earlier this month.
Now they have a problem with giving up goals at pivotal points of games.
In Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Buffalo Sabres at Joe Louis Arena, the Wings twice gave up goals just moments after scoring.
"That's always tough," forward Drew Miller said after the game. "You're fighting for momentum, and we thought we had some there. It's tough, but I thought we kept going from there, too."
Captain Henrik Zetterberg scored to trim the deficit to 2-1 five minutes into the second period.
