DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings today signed right wing Filip Zadina to a three-year entry-level contract.

Zadina, 18, was selected by the Red Wings in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on June 22-23, and went on to participate at Detroit’s Development Camp from June 26-30 at the BELFOR Training Center inside Little Caesars Arena.
