Asked their impressions of their linemate after he scored in overtime, Michael Rasmussen and Givani Smith had the same first observation: Filip Zadina has an impressive shot.
In an ending perfect for a spirited scrimmage, Zadina secured a 7-6 comeback victory for Team Howe Saturday at the Little Caesar’s Arena practice facility when he finished a setup by Rasmussen.
“It’s fun watching skill,” director of player development Shawn Horcoff said. “You can tell these guys have a bright future. That was hopefully the start of many more viewings like that.”
