Detroit — One step forward, one step back for the Red Wings.
They just can’t get any traction, although they did earn a point.
After an impressive victory in New Jersey 24 hours earlier, the Red Wings couldn’t match it Tuesday at home, losing 3-2 in overtime to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Travis Konecny scored 27 seconds in overtime giving the Flyers the victory.
The goal was reviewed for a potential offside call, but was ruled a good goal.
The Red Wings had more energy in the opening 20 minutes, but the Flyers took control in the second period and gained a 2-1 lead.
