The Detroit Red Wings placed forward Joakim Andersson on waivers today.
He has until noon Saturday to clear. If he clears he can be assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins.
Andersson has been a frequent healthy scratch this season and has sat out six of the past 10 games.
