The Detroit Red Wings got a much needed two points after topping the Colorado Avalanche 5-3 outdoors at Coors Field as part of the NHL’s Stadium Series. 50,095 showed up to Coors Field for the outdoor affair and the Red Wings now have points in their past four games.
The temperature throughout the game was different from anticipated when the NHL scheduled a game in Denver, Colorado in February as the average temperature remained in the 60s.
