An exhibition season that already boded excitement has an added dimension for the Detroit Red Wings.
The Wings will head to Calumet, Michigan, a village that the U.S. Census Bureau lists as having a population of 698 as of 2017, to play the St. Louis Blues in a preseason game on Sept. 26. Calumet's nickname is Copper Town, U.S.A.
