Detroit Red Wings survive sluggish stretch, pull away from Philadelphia Flyers, 4-2

Rookie Moritz Seider used a power to ensure the Detroit Red Wings would enjoy a second celebration against the Philadelphia Flyers this week.

Saturday's matinee at Little Caesars Arena wasn't as one-sided as the matchup in Philly, but the Wings secured a 4-2 victory to come out of the All-Star break with a two-game winning streak.

Michael Rasmussen scored into an empty net with 1:39 to play, and Thomas Greiss made 32 saves in his first start in more than a month.

Tyler Bertuzzi gave the Wings (22-21-6) a lead early in the first period in typical fashion, going to the net and knocking the puck behind Carter Hart.
