As management focuses on the future, the Detroit Red Wings are determined to bear down on the present.
Tuesday at Little Caesars Arena saw them out-compete the Nashville Predators for the last two periods, but a poor first period led to a 3-2 loss. It was the Wings’ first game since the trade that sent Petr Mrazek to Philadelphia, with more moves possible before Monday’s deadline.
