PHILADELPHIA — The Detroit Red Wings pulled themselves together and pushed back, rallying from a seemingly insurmountable deficit.
They scored on three of their first six shots of the third period Saturday at Wells Fargo Center, and Anthony Mantha scored his second goal with seven seconds to play in regulation to push their matinee against the Philadelphia Flyers into overtime, where the thriller ended with a 6-5 loss.
