The Detroit Red Wings have added another goaltender to the roster.
The team announced Monday it has signed Patrik Rybar to a one-year entry-level contract, a move designed to bolster competition this fall for the back-up job.
Rybar, 24, spent most of the 2017-18 season in the Czech Republic, where he played 36 games for HK Hradec Kralove.
