Detroit Red Wings winger, Johan Franzen has been with the team since the 2005-2006 season helping the Wings continue their playoff streak and played a huge role their Stanley Cup in 2008. He is tied with Henrik Zetterberg for the franchise record for the most goals in a playoff year with 13.
Franzen has been a valuable asset to the Wings scoring clutch game winning goals, however Franzen has taken a major beating over the years.
Franzen has accumulated multiple concussions over his career. His latest concussion he suffered was against the Edmonton Oilers after he was hit by Rob Klinkhammer in early January.
