Libor Sulak intrigues with the way he can skate.
The defenseman is an under-the-radar signing the Detroit Red Wings made this spring. After getting another chance to impress in development camp, Sulak will get a chance to make a statement come autumn.
“Libor will be at camp,” director of player evaluation Jiri Fischer told the Free Press. “Should get into some exhibition games.”

Sulak, 23, already had a contract to play for Lahti of the Finnish hockey league next season, and it is still likely he ends up there (he will make more money in Finland than in the AHL).
