Red Wings Dylan Larkin and Niklas Kronwall on what Henrik Zetterberg has meant to them. Traverse City, Sept. 14, 2018. Helene St. James, Detroit Free Press
TRAVERSE CITY — Dylan Larkin was too shy to say a word. There he was, seated next to his boyhood idol, about to go on the ice with him.
As resoundingly as Henrik Zetterberg is lauded for how he played hockey, it is as much his humility that defines his greatness. When Larkin showed up at Joe Louis Arena in autumn of 2015 to participate in the informal skates that predate training camp, the only open seat in the locker room was next to Zetterberg.
