Online oddsmaker Bovada came out with its annual day-after Stanley Cup forecasting. It’s quite early to start predicting – there’s still the expansion draft this month, then free agency – but Bovada did have last year's odds on the nose, giving the Pittsburgh Penguins 8-to-1 odds on winning the Cup this year (they became the first team since the Detroit Red Wings in 1997 and 1998 to win back-to-back titles).
