DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings have strung together two strong games back-to-back, so there is no reason to change anything.
And coach Jeff Blashill confirmed after Tuesday's practice that he's using the same lineup for Wednesday's game against the Ottawa Senators at Joe Louis Arena (7 p.m., Fox Sports Detroit).
It will be the Senators debut for defenseman Dion Phaneuf, acquired today in a blockbuster deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
"He's been a really good defenseman in this league for a long time," Blashill said. "It'll improve their D corps for right now. They're trying to make a push to make the playoffs.
