Thursday’s 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators at Little Caesars Arena was special for Jimmy Howard, who earned a victory in his 500th career game. But one of the highlights belonged to fellow veteran Niklas Kronwall, who lined up an opponent and leveled him on open ice, a signature hit that became known as a player being “Kronwall-ed” during Kronwall’s prime.
