Some unfortunate news on the injury-front for the Detroit Red Wings today. Veteran defenceman, Niklas Kronwall, will miss the next two to four weeks of action with a lower body injury. In even worse news, Drew Miller will most likely miss the remainder of the 2016 season while recovering from knee surgery.
Miller, who was injured on January 10th in a game against Anaheim, was originally slated to miss around a month of action with a torn meniscus, but Miller’s surgery was much more complicated and will require the fourth-line grinder to miss the next four to six months.
