Detroit Red Wings' Moritz Seider nets 1st AHL goal, Filip Zadina returns

Two key prospects in the Detroit Red Wings' rebuild are showing signs of dominance at the AHL level.

Defenseman Moritz Seider, the first draft pick made by Steve Yzerman since he was named general manager in April, scored his first goal with the Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday in a 4-3 victory over the San Antonio Rampage. It was the game-winning goal. Seider set up the first goal of the game, just 23 seconds into the first period, when he fired a shot that bounced off the end boards to Turner Elson, who angled the puck into San Antonio's net.
