Detroit Red Wings Lose Another One in Overtime

The Detroit Red Wings lost 4-3 in another preseason overtime thriller, this time to the Boston Bruins.

The Game in 8 Words or Less

3 on 3 OT is not looking good.

Here is what happened

After capitalizing off of a fortunate bounce for his first goal, David Krejci netted his second at 10:38 of the first period. So much for Mrazek shutting out the rebuilding Bruins. Less than 3 minutes later Kronwall assisted on a Zetterberg goal to pull the Red Wings within a goal. Tomas Tatar got the game tied early in the second after he deflected Quincey’s shot.
