Detroit Red Wings learning they can be more physical near goal crease

Jeff Blashill smiled as he said the words: “We have to get to the net hard.”

The Detroit Red Wings’ emphasis on “dirty goals” — the kind scored around the crease — is being recast in light of confusion surrounding what constitutes goaltender interference.
