Detroit Red Wings general manager Ken Holland addressed rumors he’ll be bumped from his position by Steve Yzerman with humor and candor.
Speaking Monday after the Wings cleaned out their lockers following a team picture to commemorate the 2018-19 season, Holland was asked about Yzerman, whose contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning is up this summer.
From the moment Yzerman, who forged his Hockey Hall of Fame career with the Wings, announced last September he was stepping back as general manager in Tampa, speculation began Yzerman would take control of the Wings.
