The Detroit Red Wings’ Justin Abdelkader wasted little time in picking up where he left off last season. Abdelakder posted a career-best 23 goals and 21 assists last season with the Red Wings. In the first two games of the 2015-2016 NHL Season Justin has already collected 4 goals and 1 assist.
Abbey’s 5 points in his first two games were good enough for him to be named the first star of the NHL’s opening week of play. Obviously scoring 5 points in two games is a respectful accomplishment for any player but Justin’s 5 points were thrilling and extremely important in the Red Wings starting the season off 2-0.
