Detroit Red Wings' Jonathan Bernier (upper-body injury) exits vs. Flyers

Detroit Red Wings goaltender Jonathan Bernier was removed after the first period against Philadelphia on Sunday at Little Caesars Arena with an upper-body injury.

Bernier made nine saves during the opening period in which the Flyers scored the lone goal. He was replaced by Jimmy Howard to start the second.

Dylan Larkin was shoved into Bernier early in the first period, though it's unclear whether he suffered the injury at that time.

Howard was removed early in the third period in favor of Bernier after giving up five goals in Philadelphia on Saturday.

Bernier finished the game as the Wings staged a furious comeback with four unanswered goals and forced overtime.
