Jimmy Howard tried to solve the mystery through film work. He believes he's come up with a solution.
The longtime Detroit Red Wings goalie looks at his current slump in mathematical terms. Howard has been pulled in each of his last three starts and things just haven't added up.
"To be honest, going through the video, it's just being off by a fraction," he said before the Wings embarked on a two-game road trip beginning in Arizona on Saturday.
