NEW YORK — Detroit Red Wings forward Jacob de la Rose was sent to hospital after a cardiac episode left him unable to finish Monday’s game.
During the second intermission, de la Rose was diagnosed with having an accelerated heart beat and was sent to hospital “for precautionary reasons,” coach Jeff Blashill said after the Wings’ 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
