Set your clocks for some afternoon hockey (if you're in the metro area) next November: The Detroit Red Wings are headed back to Sweden.
The NHL announced Wednesday that the Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators and Minnesota Wild will play in the 2023 Global Series. That means two games in Sweden — home to Wings forwards Lucas Raymond and Jonatan Berggren — early next season.
The Wings are scheduled to play the Senators on Nov. 16 and the Maple Leafs on Nov. 17. The Senators and Wild play Nov. 18 and the Leafs and Wild on Nov.
