A Detroit Red Wings prospect’s temper will cost him.
The Ontario Hockey League has suspended Givani Smith two games for an inappropriate gesture. After Smith’s Kitchener Rangers defeated Sault Ste. Marie 4-3 in overtime Sunday, Smith gave a middle finger to the Greyhounds bench.
The OHL announced the suspension Monday afternoon, hours before the evening’s Game 7 between the teams.

Smith was second on the team with 11 goals, and has 18 points overall in 18 playoff games.
