MONTREAL — The Detroit Red Wings had a meeting before practice on Sunday, reflecting the urgency for a victory.
Their next chance comes Monday against the Canadiens. Smarting from Saturday’s 8-2 humiliation in Boston, the Wings went over what they need to do better – win one-on-one battles, get pucks deep and hold onto the puck in the offensive zone, among other things.
