BOSTON — Filip Zadina may soon be back with the Detroit Red Wings.
The top prospect in the organization delivered two goals in what was just his third professional hockey game, helping the Grand Rapids to a 6-3 victory on Friday. Zadina scored at even strength and on the power play.
It was an encouraging performance from the 18-year-old winger. He was sent to Grand Rapids at the end of the preseason, as his performances in exhibition showed he needed an adjustment period to the speed of the pro game.
