Eight hours in a car and $300 is the physical and monetary price Ryan Hana was willing to pay Monday in his quest to retrieve a set of two stadium seats from the soon-to-be-demolished Joe Louis Arena.
It was, according to the Winged Wheel podcast host, worth it.
"There is so much history," the 24-year-old who lives in Waterloo, Ontario, but began frequenting the arena for games when he was a kid in Windsor said as he shut the trunk on his new memorabilia. "This team has been such a big part of my life and I will never have the chance again.
