The Detroit Red Wings spent another game chasing their opponent.
In what’s become a familiar story line of late, the Wings played from behind Friday at Little Caesars Arena, chipping away at the Minnesota Wild after a lethargic first period. Unlike in Philadelphia and against Chicago, the Wings couldn't pull off a third-period rally this night, and wound up losing, 3-2.
Tyler Bertuzzi and Anthony Mantha scored to each pull the Wings within a goal, and Filip Hronek and Dylan Larkin assisted both times.
