Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri, a former first-round pick who general manager Steve Yzerman acquired for almost nothing, has received an extension through 2024-25.
The team announced Monday evening that Fabbri had been signed to a three-year deal with an average annual value of $12 million. Fabbri, who turns 26 in January, was in the last year of a deal making $2.95 million per season.
Fabbri came to the Wings on Nov. 6, 2019, in a trade with the St. Louis Blues, who drafted him at No. 21 in 2014.
